Hardening Test used to ban videos....Not what you think it is.

Apparently, this new Gnarls Barkley video has been banded from MTV because it didn't pass a hardening test (which is a safety test that prevents things from getting on TV that can cause seizures). I guess causing siezures is the new thing in Hollywood. Cloverfield was causing people to vomit in the theatre, and those Lindsey Lohan pictures are definitely seizure inducing (and I am not talking about good seizures...yes they occur). It cracks me up that this didn't pass the hardening test, but things like Bad Girls Club and Nancy Grace did. Just seeing Nancy Grace's mug is enough to put me into a good long seizure where I bite off my tongue. This joke is really a choose your own adventure joke. Just put: How did Gnarls Barkley not pass the hardening test when ___________________ did? See all you out there can blog too!!! Stereogum has a little tid bit implying this is all a marketing ploy. I think it must be true because Japanese Anime fails it all the time. Remember that Simpsons episode when they did the Japanese TV= seizures bit?
