Lou Pearlman plead guilty to fraud and embezzlement charges in federal court the other day. The charges were the result of fake businesses and shoddy investment schemes, not from creating really bad music and denying that he's a child molester. I find it hard to believe that anyone gave this guy money or ever trusted that he was anything but a sleazebag. Just look at him. He looks like Jabba the Hut. Didn't Jabba run an intergalactic, mob-style, criminal, underworld? I mean come on, who couldn't see the writing on the wall with a chin like that? In other burnt-out, 90's music industry, lackey news, Scott Wieland of the Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver was arrested for DUI when he drove/crashed his car into a wall in November. Friday, he plead not guilty. I don't think Scott Weiland gets the credit he deserves for being an out of control drug addict. Pete Doherty and Gargamel Winehouse are constantly getting all the press about reckless drug abuse, but Scott Weiland has been around way longer. He was ODing long before these two ever even stole liquor from their parent's liquor cabinet. Scott Weiland has died twice, been arrested for beating is wife, has three DUI's, and was involved in arson of luxury hotel suits. Those Brits can't hold a candle to Weiland's recklessness. I'd like to see what would happen if you locked these three in a hotel room with some syringes, a Kilo of coke, and a gallon of Jack Daniels. It may create a worm hole that would tear a hole in the universe leading to the discovery of time travel and the creation of the inexplicable dark matter.
